Professional networking is the process of establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with other working professionals.  It is developing and using contacts made in business (and life) for purposes beyond the reason of the initial contact.  It is the exchanging of information with others in an informal network with the goal of furthering a career.  Many newcomers discover that they need to know people to find a job in Peterborough.
