Mentorship Programmes
“Mentoring” is the pairing of an experienced or skilled person (mentor) with a person who would like to improve his or her skills and knowledge (mentee). The New Canadians Centre, in collaboration with the local Workforce Development Board, offers a mentorship programme between new Canadians and established Canadians in the workforce. Having lived here for a significant amount of time, established Canadians are able to offer advice concerning employment and life in Canada. Please access the following links for more information and forms:

- Mentor Application Form (For established Canadians hoping to mentor a new Canadian)
The Business Advisory Centre (BAC) also has a Mentorship Programme. Based out of the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation (GPAEDC), the BAC offers a mentorship programme that matches successful business people with small businesses who are interested in growing their business.
